This clonal selection from the renowned Freedom Hill Vineyard presents deep ruby hues and aromas of black cherry, violet, and baking spices. The palate is concentrated yet elegant, with flavors of plum, cocoa, and a touch of vanilla framed by silky tannins (94 points). Aged 12 months in French oak (35% new), it finishes with minute-long persistence. Decant for roasted squab or wild mushroom tart.
