The palate is both powerful and ethereal - flavors of Morello cherry, blood orange zest, and crushed cardamom unfold across satiny tannins with Burgundian finesse (95 points). Aged 14 months in French oak (40% new), the wine's 13.8% alcohol belies its incredible concentration. The finish persists for over a minute, evolving through layers of red fruit, exotic spice, and stony minerality.
