Müller-Ruprecht Orange is a vibrant, feather-light orange wine (10.5% ABV) from Pfalz, made with organic Huxelrebe, Gewürztraminer, and Chardonnay. Fermented on skins for 10 days and aged in neutral oak, it’s bottled unfiltered and unfined for natural texture and cloudiness. Aromas of jasmine, citrus, and orange blossom lead to a dry, zippy palate with grapefruit pith, stone fruit, and bright acidity. Light-bodied with subtle tannins and a refreshing finish. Little-known Huxelrebe is a German grape variety, the result of a crossing between Chasselas and Courtillier Musqué (Muscat Précoce de Saumur) by Georg Scheu in 1927. Made by Sabine Wöhrwag and Philipp Ruprecht, this wine reflects their organic farming and minimal-intervention ethos. Grown in limestone-rich Kallstadt, their wines highlight freshness and energy. This is pure, joyful winemaking—full of lift, texture, and charm.
