Foris Rogue Valley Moscato 2023

The 2023 Foris Vineyards Estate Moscato is an aromatic, lightly sparkling white wine from Southern Oregon's Rogue Valley. It is crafted in a style inspired by Italian Moscato d’Asti, balancing natural sweetness with vibrant acidity. Wildly aromatic and expressive. It features an abundance of white peach, Asian pear, and honeysuckle, complemented by intense notes of orange blossom, lychee, and a hint of fresh ginger. The palate is light and lively, characterized by a delicate effervescence (petulance). It leads with flavors of ripe apricot, mandarin orange, and cantaloupe. Sweet yet balanced by "mouthwatering" acidity, which prevents it from being cloying. It has a naturally low alcohol content, typically around 7% to 8% ABV. Clean and refreshing with lingering floral and tropical fruit notes.
