From the silex-rich slopes of Pouilly-sur-Loire, this Sauvignon Blanc presents a pale green hue. The nose enchants with delicate aromas of gooseberry, lime blossom, and crushed oyster shell. The palate delivers laser-like focus - flavors of grapefruit pith, green almond, and wet flint unfold with bracing acidity (7.8 g/L TA) that earned unanimous 94-96 point scores. Fermented with native yeasts and aged on fine lees for 10 months, this 13% alcohol wine finishes with a mineral persistence that lingers like river stones. Serve at 10°C with crottin de Chavignol or simply savor its crystalline purity alone. The 2023 vintage produced Pouilly-Fumés of legendary tension.
