From 80-year-old vines in Morgon's schistous soils, this wine shimmers with deep ruby hues and a complex nose of black cherry, iris, and crushed graphite. The winemaker's traditional whole-cluster fermentation and extended maceration extract silken tannins while preserving vibrant acidity. Flavors of plum skin, bitter chocolate, and a striking mineral backbone earned 94 points. The endless finish lingers with violet pastille and stony minerality.
