Arrels de Clos Pissarra el Sol Blanc Montsant '19

A white Grenache rarity from north-facing slate slopes. Pale gold with green flecks, it offers a perfumed nose of peach skin, fennel pollen, and wet river stones. The palate is textural yet fresh, with flavors of apricot, beeswax, and a saline finish that Wine Advocate (94 pts) compares to "Château-Grillet meets the Mediterranean." Aged in concrete eggs, it’s perfect now–2028 with pulpo a la gallega.
